About the prize

The first edition of the Arab Bank Switzerland’s NFT Art Prize is open to all artists who use digital tools and have previously created NFTs. This prize is a unique opportunity to develop a new masterpiece on a major societal topic, and to benefit from the appraisal of renowned international experts.

Selection Criteria

There are no age, country, nationality or selling requirements. However, each artist will have to submit an art piece that refers to the link between Orient and Occident. This creation, a unique piece, will be minted on the occasion or will have already been minted (eth or tezos) and still in the possession of the artist.

The Jury

The prize is supported by a panel of judges and expert mentors from the art and digital worlds. Each application will be examined, and 10 finalists will be shortlisted in May, before the winner’s announcement on June 7th, 2023. The art pieces and preselected artists’ profiles will be subject to a dedicated communication, to give them further visibility and increased attention from the public.

Endowment and Rewards

The laureate will receive a prize of 15,000 CHF. The winner will have the opportunity to present his/her work and ensuing collection during an exhibition that will take place in Lisbon, during the Non Fungible Conference and prize ceremony, on the 7th and 8th of June 2023.

The winner’s art piece will be acquired by Arab Bank Switzerland and will become part of its NFT collection. The latter will once again be exhibited during a dedicated event in October 2023 in Geneva. An occasion for clients, art connoisseurs, collectors and artists to build new bridges.
