2024 Prize
The second edition of the Arab Bank Switzerland’s Digital Art Prize is open to all artists who use digital tools and have previously created NFTs. This prize is a unique opportunity to develop a new masterpiece on a major societal topic, and to benefit from the appraisal of renowned international experts.
Selection Criteria
There are no age, country, nationality or selling requirements. However, each artist will have to submit an art piece that refers to this edition’s theme: “Journey(s) in Art, Pushing the Boundaries”. This creation, a unique piece, will be minted on the occasion or will have been minted (eth or tezos) between 2023 and 2024 and still in the possession of the artist.
The Jury
The prize is supported by a panel of experts, collectors and artists from the art and digital worlds. Each application will be examined, and 10 finalists will be shortlisted between April and May 2024, before the winner’s announcement on May 28th 2024. The art pieces and preselected artists’ profiles will be subject to a dedicated communication, to give them further visibility and increased attention from the public.
The laureate will receive a prize of 15,000 CHF. The winner will have the opportunity to present his/her work in an exhibition and Prize ceremony that will take place in Lisbon, during the Non Fungible Conference, on May 28th 2024.
The winner’s art piece will be acquired by Arab Bank Switzerland and will become part of its Digital Art collection. In addition to networking and visibility opportunities, the piece will be exhibited in various events across the world organized by the bank. An occasion for clients, art connoisseurs, collectors and artists to build new bridges.
