The Call for Applications is open from January 15th to March 15th 2024.

Unveiling of the 10 artists pre-selected (finalists) for this second edition.

Announcement of the Second ABS Digital Art Prize Winner around the Non-Fungible Conference, in Lisbon.

How to apply?

All artists will be selected on the basis of their digital art piece, which should be an interpretation of the theme: “Journey(s) in Art, Pushing the Boundaries”. This creation, a unique piece, will be minted on this occasion or will have been minted between 2023 and 2024 (eth or tezos) but still be owned by the artist.

There are no age, country, nationality or sale criteria; but the art pieces must reflect the theme defined above, as it is intrinsically linked to Arab Bank Switzerland’s history and values.

In total, 10 finalists will be shortlisted by our jury panel, important figures from the business and art domains. The selected profiles and art pieces will be presented to the public online before a final deliberation which will see the laureate of this second edition awarded.

What are the evaluation criteria?

The jury will review submitted art pieces based on the following criteria:

Relevance to the theme: Journey(s) in Art, Pushing the Boundaries
Emotional relevance: the aesthetic and/or the concept of the piece generates an emotion.
The piece has been minted between 2023 and 2024 and is still in the possession of the artist.
Coherence of the submitted oeuvre with the artistic journey of the artist.
Bonus criteria: innovation, the concept or aesthetic of the piece has never been seen before in the Digital Art & NFT landscape.
