Yinkore

A Nigerian self-taught digital artist, Yinkore defines herself as a black and bisexual woman.

She knows stories like hers are almost unheard of. Yinkore finds her inspiration by exploring the intersection between these minority statuses. She uses her work as a form of activism, a voice that resists the silence that people like her have too often accepted. In creating these works about minorities, she does not address the issue of preferences, on the contrary, he makes it her obligation to ensure the multicultural representation of all possible identities as she progresses in her artistic endeavor.

Since 2018, when she began her digital art, she participated in many group exhibitions, the most recent ones were “#ALLWOMXNMATTER” organized by Julie Miller African Contemporary (South Africa, 2020), and the exhibition “Paradise” organized by imnotArt gallery in Chicago (USA, 2022).
